3S-Smart Software Solutions has successfully weathered the global downturn

Due to a significant increase in foreign sales 3S-Smart Software Solutions has managed to stand its ground despite the global economic turmoil in 2009.

With over 250 OEM customers and thousands of end users around the world CoDeSys is the leading manufacturer-independent IEC 61131-3 automation tool. In 2009 the CoDeSys company 3S-Smart Software Solutions has done far better than the market and was able to balance out the 6.58 percent decline in overall turnover with a 13 percent increase in foreign sales.

Due to the above average growth outside Germany approximately 25 percent of the company’s yearly turnover is meanwhile generated in foreign markets. Especially China and Russia are countries with a very promising potential for 3S-Smart Software Solutions.
