3S-Smart Software Solutions releases CoDeSys V3.4

Kempten/Germany, March 2010: CoDeSys V3.4 offers many new features and a significant performance boost

The programming tool CoDeSys by 3S-Smart Software Solutions is used on thousands of automation devices worldwide thus making it the international number one among hardware independent IEC 61131-3 programming systems.

In version CoDeSys 3.4, a whole range of new product features and improvements have made the programming tool faster and more effective.

The programming interface can now be handled much easier without a reduction in functionality. Complex features can be activated or de-activated by means of pre-set feature sets or manually. So-called “packages” allow device manufacturers to bundle functional extensions of the programming system for their customers. These “packages” can include specific device descriptions, Plug-In components, libraries or online help extensions.

CoDeSys V3.4 offers an optional FDT integration extending the standard configuration by device-specific dialogs from DTMs. The new 3D CNC editor and the 3D CNC libraries now allow users to work with full 3D functionality in CoDeSys SoftMotion. Numerous improvements in the programming interface, in the visualization, in the graphical editors or “under the hood” lead to a significant performance boost in your daily work with CoDeSys.

A full version of CoDeSys V3.4 can be downloaded under www.codesys.com after prior registration.
