CODESYS Academy Training V2 to V3 Skill up (online/onsite)

The training is face-to-face led by an instructor. It targets experienced CODESYS V2 users planning to skill up to CODESYS V3. Throughout the training, theoretical parts are followed by practical exercises to facilitate knowledge transfer.
The training is based on the IEC 61131-3 3rd ed. standard .

The first two days focus on V3 functionality and the differences to V2.3. Participants will become familiar with the following functions and features:

• Project import
• Project handling
• Diagnostics
• Backup and restore
• Hardware configuration
• CODESYS editors

The training includes the following visualization features:

• Basic elements
• Placeholder concept
• Available visualization clients
• Language switch

The training includes a short introduction to object-oriented programming.

The third day of the training focuses on standard library creation. Participants will become familiar with the following features of library development and documentation:

• Creating CODESYS libraries
• Managing different library types
• Introduction to the common behaviour model library
• Managing library users
• Manage library documentation
• Handle the Package Designer

A virtual desktop is available to each participant for exercises at online courses. This desktop can be accessed with a browser, allowing the trainer to look over the shoulder of the participants and provide individual support.
